Q. What is the MySurveyCenter.com panel?
A. The MySurveyCenter.com panel is comprised of a group of individuals from around the world who have agreed to give their opinions on a wide variety of topics, ranging from social and healthcare issues to fashion and food. To join our web panel, you must be 18 years or older and have access to the Internet. You will be contacted via e-mail when we conduct a survey for which you may qualify

Q. What is the cost for signing up?
A. There is no cost whatsoever. MySurveyCenter.com considers you a part of the survey team and actually gives you either a cash incentive or a chance to win various prizes when you participate in surveys. We at MySurveyCenter.com do not have, never have, and never will have an affiliation with any company charging people to participate in online surveys.

Q. How much money will I make?
A. This will vary, based on the number and type of surveys for which you qualify and complete. Respondents are selected to participate in surveys based upon the specific requirements of that survey. This includes such items as age, product usage, type of job, etc. The compensation you receive varies from survey to survey as well.

Q. Are there any surveys that don’t give cash or a prize?
A. All our regular surveys pay cash incentives or enroll you in a drawing for a prize. The only times we do not provide an incentive are for the following:
The User Profile that you fill out when you register to become a panelist.
“Survey Profile” questionnaires, which we use to help us identify which participants to invite to certain surveys.
Our weekly poll – located on the home page.
Project Qualification questionnaires – These are short questionnaires that we send out to our panelists to determine whether they are eligible to receive an invitation to a particular survey. These Project Qualification questionnaires are similar to the Survey Profile questionnaires dealing specifically with issues pertaining to a particular survey. Those that qualify are sent an invitation to participate in the survey.

Q. How do I get paid?
A. Here again, this will depend upon the type of incentive offered for each individual study. All entrants who participate in a Survey which offers a cash incentive, who meet the qualification for that survey, and who fully complete the survey will be given credit in the amount of the incentive for that survey which will be placed in their MySurveyCenter.com account. Funds will be held in the account until a total of $25.00 is accumulated or for a period of six months, whichever comes first. At that time a check will be issued for the total amount due, which will be sent to the respondent at the address provided in their personal profile. However, should the incentive for that survey be a prize drawing instead of cash, the winning respondents will be notified by email and the prize drawing is sent via courier to the address provided in their personal profile.

Q. How are prize winners chosen?
A. When a survey has a prize drawing instead of a cash payment, prize winners are randomly chosen from among those who respond by the deadline for the survey. Generally prize drawings are conducted on a regular basis and the winners are chosen randomly from among those responding, with each person having one entry for each survey they completed during the entry period.

Q.What are my odds of winning a prize?
A. The chances of winning are based on how many people complete studies during the entry period. Most surveys are conducted among a fairly small group of panellists, so your odds of winning are fairly good.

Q.Can I fill out multiple questionnaires to get additional payments or increase my chances of winning a prize?
A. While you can complete more than one survey, you can not get more money or increase your chances of winning by filling out the same questionnaire more than once. We only accept one questionnaire from each person invited to participate. The only way you can get more money or prizes is to participate in more research studies or get your friends to sign up and participate in our panel. Should any person circumvent our security and sign up for a single survey more than once they will be disqualified from future surveys and be ineligible for any incentive or prizes.

Q. Do I need to fit a certain "profile" to take surveys successfully?
A. While your "profile" is one of the most important factors that will determine the type and number of survey invitations you receive, there is no such thing as a "good" or "bad" profile. Each and every person simply has a different profile, as everyone in the world is a little different. While you profile might exclude you for one survey, it will include you in many more. Our Survey Profiling system is designed with several “Profile Sections” (i.e. Employment information, Personal Technology, Household shopping etc.). The more information you provide the better your chances of being selected for a survey. The Profile Manager provides you with the ability to ensure this information is complete and up-to-date. You will be able to determine at a glance which profiles have been completed and which remain.

Q. How do I update my information?
A. Click the "Login" link, found on the main page, and you will be presented with the Login page. At this point you will have to enter your User ID and password,. You will then be granted access to update your Basic Profile information, along with all of your Profile information. If you have forgotten your password, you may enter your email address and your login information will be immediately sent to you.

Q. I'm concerned about privacy issues. Should I worry about this?
A. As long as you stick to the "legitimate" market research companies, such as MySurveyCenter.com and our partners, you will not have a problem in this regard. For one simple reason, we know that people like you are the lifeblood of our business. Without consumers like you to take their surveys we would be out of business in a hurry. It's simple economics.
Generally you'll be asked to provide basic information about where you live, what you do for a living, what products and services you use, etc. in order to build your personal "profile". This is how we will know which surveys to send you. But you never have to provide any information you are not comfortable giving out.

Q.Will you sell my e-mail address?
A. Absolutely not! We never sell our panelists’ e-mail addresses or any other personal information. Your opinions are important to us, and we are totally committed to respecting your privacy. Q.Do you use cookies?
A. Cookies help us maintain information about the current survey session and save your log-in information if you have chosen the “Remember My Member Name and Password” feature. These cookies are only for your convenience – for example, they help you if your Internet connection is interrupted while you’re working on a survey and they remember your log-in information so you don’t have to enter it every time you visit our site. Please be aware that if you have turned the “Cookies” option off on your browser, our Web site may not work properly. We never use cookies to store confidential information. Q. I changed my mind - how do I cancel my membership?
A. If you're no longer interested in doing surveys, you can cancel your membership at any time by logging into the Profile Manager (clicking the Login link). Simply click the “Cancel my membership” button, and your account and all of your personal information will be instantly and permanently deleted. It is also possible for you to set yourself on temporary leave (i.e. you will be away on business or a vacation/holiday), so our system will not be sending you needless invitations.

Q. What should I do if I don't have time to finish a survey, or I'm cut off while trying to complete it?
A. It's not a problem. If you did not complete the survey, you can go in at a later time. Simply click on the link again in the e-mail you received from us and you'll return to the last page you were on. Try to get back to the survey as quickly as possible since some surveys are only available for a few days. In cases where the survey fielding has ended before you had a chance to return to it, you will be notified when you try to enter the survey. Please remember that you are eligible for an incentive only if you complete the survey.

Q. How often will I be receiving invitations to surveys?
A. About once every two months, sometimes more, sometimes less. We try not to burn you out.

Q. Why am I not receiving any surveys?
A. Because surveys are not delivered on a regularly scheduled basis, you may not receive a survey right after signing up. Rest assured that you will receive surveys for which you qualify, so be patient.

Q. What happens to my survey responses?
A. Your survey responses, along with those of other MySurveyCenter.com panel member who have answered that survey, are compiled and sent to our clients in statistical format only. Your name is never revealed and the opinions and information you share with us are never be analyzed on an individual basis. Your opinions, together with those of other members of our panel, will then help to shape the future of the products and services that you buy.

Q. Do I have to participate every time I am invited to take a survey?
A. We encourage you to take a survey whenever you receive an invitation. However, you can decide not to participate in any survey without being dropped from the panel as long as you participate in at least one survey every six months.

Q. How long do surveys take to complete?
A. Our surveys take anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes. This time may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection or browser. Although we try to keep our surveys as short as possible, there is the occasional longer survey. When this happens, we try to make it up to you by providing a more attractive incentive for participation.
